Lot Porter
When customer drops off car for service:
- Perform vehicle damage inspection
- Write down vehicle mileage
- Write down license plate number for RO
- Install floor mat and seat seat cover
- Park in service rows
- Document row number on RO
- Bring RO and key to dispatcher
Throughout the day: Move cars from in front of showroom and handicap parking. Empty trash cans in shop. Clean floors. Check with shop foreman for other cleaning duties. Pull vehicles up for customers. Remove floor mat and seat cover.
Check with dispatcher for courtesy car washes
- Before washing car: inspect and document any damage
- Wash top to bottom, including wheels. Rinse and squeegee
- Park vehicle back in service row, document row number on back of key tag
Check in returned loaner cars
- Inspect for damage, including windshield for chips
- Fill out inspection form and check fluid levels
- Wash car, vacuum and clean out garbage if needed
- Park back into loaner row
- Turn in keys and inspection sheet to the cashier
Other duties as assigned
Must have clean driving record and pass a background check.
